The Active650 Thumb Supports aid in the treatment of osteoarthritis pain and instability of the carpometacarpal (CMC) joint. The Thumb Supports provide functional stabilisation without restricting the use of the thumbs for pinching or grasping objects.

The Active650 Thumb Supports have been designed by renowned American Hand Therapist Kristin Valdes OTD, OT, CHT. Having listened to her patient's complaints about existing thumb supports being too bulky and restrictive, she teamed up with Active650 to create this breakthrough design that provides compression at the base of the thumb to stabilise the CMC joint, whilst providing a gentle thumb abduction stretch to help open the thumb web space.
